  46.        If you are installing this product for the first time, the
  47.        subsystems marked ``default'' are the ones that are
  48.        installed if you use the ``go'' menu item.  To install a
  49.        different set of subsystems, use the ``install,''
  50.        ``remove,'' ``keep,'' and ``step'' commands in _i_n_s_t to
  51.        customize the list of subsystems to be installed, then
  52.        select the ``go'' menu item.

  54.        Note:  The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to
  55.               the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for information

  89.        All of the subsystems for CHALLENGEcomplib can be installed
  90.        using IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to
  91.        the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for complete
  92.        installation instructions.

  94.        2.4  _O_t_h_e_r__I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n__I_n_f_o_r_m_a_t_i_o_n

  96.        The location of these libraries and their names are subject
  97.        to change.  The libraries are currently DSO ._s_o libraries.
  98.  
  99.        The _c_o_m_p_l_i_b._s_w._s_g_i_m_a_t_h subsystems are the default for all
  100.        platforms that do NOT support the mips4 architecture (i.e.
  101.        R4*).

  103.        The _c_o_m_p_l_i_b._s_w._6_4 subsystems are for use on machines that
  104.        support the mips4 architecture (i.e. R8000 and R10000).  Use
  105.        the compiler flags (----66664444 ----mmmmiiiippppssss4444), for example:
